International Roaming Guide
In most cases once you have purchased Telstra’s International Roaming or Day Pass it should automatically activate when you use your phone in an eligible overseas destination.
Note: for Day passes it can take up to 2 hours to become active.
In the event that it does not automatically find a Local carrier you will need to manually search and activate it.
Once it finds the local carrier it is all good to go.
We have found that moving between cities a manual search and activation is required.
Depending on the location and country its found that some need the forced connection.
The following is a quick guide to manually search and activate the local carrier.
