Why choose this pass?
Telstra’s International Travel Pass includes calls and SMS to and from standard numbers (fixed lines and mobiles) and a data allowance that can be used within the customers selected zone. This even includes calls back to Australia! The data allowance covers internet browsing, sending and receiving MMS and email as well as the use of various mobile applications.
Furthermore, Telstra also offers a data calculator to help estimate approximate usage need here, ensuring that customers get exactly what they are after with no surprise fees. To guarantee this, Telstra will also provide customers with an automatic SMS alert to those who have reached 50%, 85% and 100% of their international travel pass data allowance.
The team at Telephone Technologies consider this to be an excellent service from Telstra that will give both recreational travellers and those on business peace of mind while abroad. Telstra customers can also contact Telstra free of charge from their mobile phone overseas on +61 4 3912 5109 or 12 51 09 whilst in Australia, 24 hours a day.
