2007 Is where it all started with the original iPhone!
2008/2009 saw the release of the 3G and the 3Gs.
2010/2011 the iPhone 4/4s brought a sleeker design.
2012/2013 more models start appearing 5/5s/5c
2014/2015 size mattered with the 6/+ and 6s/6+
2016 was back to basics with the iPhone 7 and 7+.
2017 like clockwork, in September the iPhone 8 and 8+ was released.
Late 2017 through to 2018 to coincide with the 10 year anniversary since the original launched the X, XR, XS and XS Max. Basically the X was the standard, XS was the upgraded X, XR was the cheaper one and XS Max, you guessed it was the bigger one.
2019 the iPhone 11, 11 Pro and 11 Max got released all on the same day which is rare.
2020 again the same models but with an added Mini - I guess not everyone needs a bigger screen.
2021 Apple continued the 12 releases with the 13, 13 Mini, 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max.
We’ve all have heard that 13 is supposedly unlucky but Apple aren’t triskaidekaphobics (the fear of the number 13).
What's next for the iPhone?
What do you think the next iPhone 14 will entail and do you think there will be an end to the count? What about an iPhone 24 or a iPhone 98 – maybe by then everyone will just have a chip embedded into themselves or we will all communicate telepathically. It’s exciting times with the future of technology and telecommunications continuing to improve and advance ahead.
Perhaps we will see an iPhone Flip or even an iPhone Slide. Only time will tell…
